Our goal when creating this policy was to make sure our contractors have adequate weekly cash flow in order to accumulate enough for regular maintenance of the truck and the trailer. We create the weekly charge by pulling miles from the tractor itself or the ELD device. However, we would like to further clarify what the wear and tear policy includes:
Regular tire wear and tear (excludes damages created by not maintaining adequate tire pressures or any other physical damages)
Regular brakes wear and tear (excludes damages created from hard braking when going downhill or from not reporting worn brake pads or any damages made to the disc or the wheel hub from metal hitting metal)
Repairs ordered by the DOT inspection
Any other small repairs of up to $200 (lights, air lines, air leaks…)
Depending on the type of truck in question, we have different warranties in place, however the items covered under the warranty are the same. All trucks have a four-year 500k miles warranty, whichever expires first. Here is the list of items covered:
DPF and DEF system
This allows us to roam the USA roads relatively stress free. Items other than those on the list above are not covered through the regular warranty.

If a brand-new truck is available, then the answer is yes. It’s about timing, I guess. We can’t promise that a truck with ZERO miles will be available at the time of you joining us. We promise you a truck that’s less than three years old and regularly maintained by our first-class maintenance staff in our own shop located at our terminal in Alsip, IL. As an added bonus, we promise you a recovery truck in an event that your truck breaks down. Let’s be honest, even on new trucks you sometimes get a “check engine” light come on after just 50,000 miles.
According to our Company Policy, all our trucks are limited to a maximum of 69 mph.
As a company, we operate on a First Come First Served basis. We are able to place a hold on one of our units for you for a period of 48 hours in special circumstances. Nevertheless, all our trucks are regularly maintained and there is no need to think that one is better than the other. It’s all about personal preference.
Yes. Every rented truck includes a cents per mile charge which is billed monthly. Also, the regular service of the truck is charged at a much lower rate. This includes the regular wear and tear of tires and brakes but doesn’t include any physical damage to the units.
We use Pilot and Flying J for fueling up. However, in case you ever run out of diesel, we allow a 50-gallon emergency fill-up at any fuel stop.
